The Uzis are a pair of fully automatic machine pistols in Population: One, carried one in each hand. Each does 14 damage a bullet.
What the stars change on the Uzis
Better Uzis don't hit harder. Every star does 14 damage a bullet, head or body.
What a star buys is the magazine: 20 rounds at one star, 36 at five.
Every star also takes a little recoil off, so five-star Uzis stay on target longer.
A star changes nothing else: not the reload, not the range or the falloff, not the aim down the sights.
How the Uzis fire
Hold the trigger and they fire 13 rounds a second until the magazine is empty: 1.5 s of fire at one star, 2.8 s at five.
Reloading is a snap of the wrist, one gun at a time. Nothing in the game times a reload.
They are carried as a pair, one in each hand.
Against a built wall every hit counts 1.5 times its damage.
Playing the Uzis
A headshot does no more damage than a body shot. Both hands are taken while they are held.
Shots to down with the Uzis
A player has 100 health and up to 100 shield. On health alone the Uzis down in 8 shots. Through a full shield it takes 15 shots in about 1.1 s, if everything lands.
Where the Uzis stop hitting hard
Full damage out to 14 m. Past that a bullet does 10 damage and falls to 5 over the next 28 m, then stays at 5 out to the Uzis' 140 m range.
A bullet travels at 720 m/s, so a target moving sideways at distance has to be led.
Uzis or MP5, Silenced MP9, P90 and UMP
The MP5 does 22 damage a bullet, 13 bullets a second. The Silenced MP9 does 21 damage a bullet, 12 bullets a second. The P90 does 20 damage a bullet, 15 bullets a second. The UMP does 19 damage a bullet, 14 bullets a second.
