Privacy Policy for pop1stats App

1. Introduction

Welcome to pop1stats (the “App”), operated by StoraH (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Not affiliated with BigBox VR, Meta, or Population: One.

2. How We Collect Data

The App displays in-game player activity and statistics from Population: One. We do not scrape, hack, or access private information. Player data is collected only for players who have actively sent a friend request to the official pop1stats in-game account. This friend connection allows us to securely read public player stats through approved in-game mechanisms.
If you haven’t added the pop1stats account as a friend in Population: One, we do not collect or display any data about you.

3. Information We Collect

We only process publicly visible, gameplay-related information from Population: One, such as:

  • Display name
  • Match statistics (kills, wins, damage, loot, MMR etc.)
  • Login activity (last active time)

In addition, the App may store small amounts of data locally on your device:

  • Followed players
  • Notification preferences
  • App settings

This information is stored locally and is never sold or shared.

4. How We Use Information

We use this data to:

  • Display player stats and history in the App
  • Show when followed players are online or in-game
  • Send optional notifications about tracked players
  • Improve reliability and community experience

We do not sell, rent, or share any data with advertisers or third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

The App may interact with:

  • pop1stats.com to fetch public game stats
  • Apple services (App Store / APNs) for app distribution and push notifications

We do not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking pixels.

6. Data Retention

The App may interact with:

  • Game stats are refreshed periodically while players remain friends with the pop1stats account.
  • If a player removes the pop1stats friend connection, their data stops being collected and eventually expires from our system.
  • Local app data stays only on your device until you clear settings or uninstall the app.

7. Your Choices

  • You can remove the pop1stats friend in-game to immediately stop any further data updates.
  • You can clear app data or uninstall the App to remove all locally stored preferences.
  • Notifications can be disabled in the App or your system settings at any time.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed toward children under 13.

If a parent or guardian believes a child’s data has been collected, please contact us via Discord and we’ll remove it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as needed. The latest version will always be available at: https://pop1stats.com/privacy/app
